Photography workshops in Brussels

Learn by doing

A one-to-one, four-hour workshop for €400 including VAT to develop practical skills in studio lighting, portrait technique and Lightroom editing. Learn from a working photographer in my studio.

Photo training

Learn by doing

You learn photography by doing. In my workshops, you spend 80% of the time with a camera in your hands, a model in front of you and lighting to adjust. We start at your level and build step by step: the exposure triangle, Broncolor flashes, histograms and guiding a subject. You leave with your own photographs and the skills to recreate them.

Proposed themes

Regular workshops cover studio portraits with 1, 2 and 3 lights, natural light, Lightroom workflows and skin retouching, directing models and event flash basics. Tailored training is also available for communications teams and enthusiasts moving into professional photography.

Small groups, long follow-up

The four-hour workshop at €400 including VAT is a one-to-one session. Small-group programmes and prices are quoted individually. A professional model is provided for portrait practice. You receive a summary PDF, your RAW files from the workshop and the option to email me with questions for 30 days.

Faultless, both as a person and as a professional! You can feel his passion for photography every second, and the result is beautiful! Thank you for creating memories that will last a lifetime. We can't wait to have them printed on canvas and put them all around the house! See you soon! Mégane and Félix.

Honestly, Hani is an incredible photographer! As soon as you arrive at his studio, which is lovely by the way, you feel at ease. He took beautiful photographs of me, and I really recognise myself in them, which isn't always easy. He's incredibly professional and also really friendly, and that makes all the difference. His photos aren't just beautiful, they tell a story. If you're looking for someone for portraits or a photo session, go for it. You won't be disappointed. Thank you again, Hani, it's an experience I'll never forget!

★★★★★
Hani is a talented professional. Three of us came for a free photograph that one of us had won. Hani gave us twice the planned time and made the effort to accommodate each person's wishes. He took the time to help us feel confident and give us advice, then helped us choose from the more than 200 photos he had taken! The high-resolution photos, with black-and-white versions as a bonus, were delivered promptly! An excellent place for professional and personal photography or web presence needs. I highly recommend him.

Your questions

Frequently asked questions

Answers to the questions I am asked most often. Another question? Write to me on WhatsApp or by email: I will reply to you personally.

  • How much does a photography workshop cost?
The four-hour one-to-one workshop costs €400 including VAT: €330.58 excluding VAT plus €69.42 VAT. Small-group sessions, a full day or a two-day programme are available on quotation after discussing your experience, goals and preferred topic.
  • What themes can be covered?
The fundamentals (aperture, speed, ISO, framing), guidance and making models comfortable, management of natural and artificial light (flash, studio), retouching and colorimetry, but also the marketing development of the profession (portfolio, prices, suppliers, team). Program adapted to your level.
  • Do you need to have your own equipment?
Ideally yes, to practice on your device. But the studio's professional equipment (boxes, optics, studio lighting, backgrounds) is made available for the practical part. Possibility of loan for a discovery workshop.
  • Does the workshop take place in the studio or outdoors?
In studio by default, in Uccle. But some workshops can be done outdoors (street, park, natural light) depending on the chosen theme. Theory is combined with real practice (models available).
  • Can we request a smartphone photography workshop for a team?
Specify the number of participants, the phones they use and the images your team would like to learn to take: portraits, premises, products or events. Also mention their experience, preferred language and location. I review these details to propose a suitable programme, with the format, equipment and price confirmed before any commitment.
  • Can I join a photography workshop as an amateur?
Yes, the training is also for amateurs who want to develop their photography for enjoyment. Sessions can be individual or in small groups of 2 to 6 people. Tell me about your experience, camera and interests, such as lighting or studio portraits. We then confirm the programme, date and group format.
