A portrait, the intimacy of a family, a wedding day or the image of a company: each project begins with a relationship of trust.
This charter describes how I work, at the studio in Uccle, outdoors, in Belgium and abroad. It guides our collaboration from our first conversation to the delivery of your photographs.
Confidentiality & image rights
Your image.
Your consent.
Accepting to be photographed does not mean agreeing to be published.
I only use your photographs to promote my work, on my portfolio, social media or in publications, with your explicit written agreement. You can decline publication and receive exactly the same care during your session.
You can withdraw your consent by email. I then remove the images concerned from my channels within the 15 working days provided for in the Terms of sale, subject to already printed media or third party relays.
I respect the privacy of the places, conversations and situations my work gives me access to. We can agree on a specific confidentiality agreement before the shoot.

Kindness & consent
At your own pace.
I guide you with simple instructions, without asking you to hold an uncomfortable pose or remain in a situation that does not feel right. You can ask for a break, set a boundary or decline a suggestion at any time.
Before adjusting clothing or hair, I ask your permission. My guidance respects your body, your identity and who you are.
For children, I obtain permission from the person or people with parental responsibility. I also pay attention to the child's willingness, age and tiredness. Comfort and safety come before the photograph.
Commercial transparency
A clear framework.
Before we begin, we agree on the service, duration, number of photographs, finishes, intended uses and price. Travel costs and extras are set out where applicable.
Any additional photograph, extra time or change to the project is proposed with its price and requires your agreement. You choose your photographs without pressure to buy.
Your image rights and the photographer’s copyright are separate. For professional, advertising or editorial use, the media and usage rights are specified in the quote or license.

My editing respects your features and body shape. We agree on the approach to suit the session and your intentions, with particular care for a natural result.
An artistic transformation, composite or substantial change to the setting is discussed beforehand. If a creative edit uses generative AI, I tell you and we agree on it together.
For reportage, I preserve the meaning of the scene as photographed. A composite image must not be presented as a faithful record of a moment.

A selection, finishes, a deadline
The selection process, number of photographs and delivered versions are those stated in your session option or quote. Standard studio sessions are usually delivered within 7 to 10 days. Reportage and weddings have their own delivery times, as set out in the delivery conditions and the quote.
The final photographs are delivered in high definition JPEG. RAW files are not part of the deliverables unless prior written agreement is given.
A private delivery space
Your photographs are delivered through a private online gallery. I send you the link and access details personally. Share it only with the people you choose. For a sensitive project, we agree on confidentiality requirements before the shoot.
The access period is stated when I send your gallery. The link may expire before the storage period ends, so download your photographs and keep your own backups.
A supervised conservation
The retouched photographs delivered are kept for one year from delivery, according to the General Terms and Conditions. RAW files and unselected images are retained for a maximum of 30 days after delivery, in accordance with the privacy policy. Images published with your consent follow the duration of this consent.
Your data, used wisely
I only process the data needed for our collaboration, its administration and legal obligations. Your data is neither sold nor rented. The technical providers and other recipients needed to deliver the service are listed in the privacy policy, which also details your rights and how to exercise them.

At the studio, in your home, at work or abroad, I prepare each shoot and use well-maintained professional equipment, with backup options suited to the assignment.
I respect the location, everyone present and the safety rules. A photograph never justifies putting you at risk. If the weather or conditions require it, we adapt the arrangements or agree to reschedule under the applicable terms.
For work abroad, we plan ahead together for permits, location restrictions and local customs. Your project receives the same care wherever it takes place.
